October Begins With “Decision”
A decision does not have to be a major turning point.
It can be something you chose without much thought, a direction you hesitated over, something you decided not to do, or a small choice that stayed with you afterward.
October’s prompts use Decision as a starting point rather than a single question to answer.
Across the five categories, the same keyword can lead into a feeling, a photograph, something you are grateful for, a longer piece of writing, or a letter.
That gives you more than one way into the month without requiring every entry to look the same.
Use One Journaling Card at a Time
The JPG cards separate the 15 monthly prompts into individual starting points.
The featured October card comes from the Photo Log category and asks:
“An object that represents where I’m headed.”
You could answer it with a photograph, add a few lines beside the image, or simply keep the card nearby until something catches your attention.
The point of the card is not to create another task to complete.
It gives you one clear place to begin when you want to record something but do not yet know what form the entry should take.
Add the Cards to the Journal You Already Use
Light Membership does not include a separate planner or Goodnotes PDF.
Instead, the TXT prompts and JPG cards are designed to fit into the recording space you already have.
In Goodnotes, you can import a card onto an existing journal page and write beside it.
In a photo journal, you can use a Photo Log card as the starting point for an image-based entry.
You can also save the cards to your phone, keep the TXT file for quick reference, or print a card for a paper notebook.
There is no required order and no need to use all 15 prompts in one month.
